| Rhubarb Crumble |
8ozs SR Flour
4ozs Butter
3 ozs Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp of Cinnamon (Optional)
Add Cinnamon to Flour, then rub in the fat until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the brown sugar which completes your crumble topping.
Wash Rhubarb, top and tale then cut into chunks. Put into a saucepan with a small amount of water and a tablespoon of sugar. Gently bring to the boil then simmer for 5 minutes. Place into the bottom of a baking dish and pour the crumble over the top.
Bake in a moderate oven gas mark 5 or 190 degrees for approx 20 minutes or until brown. Serve with hot custard or fresh cream. |

Our fresh beer battered Cod, Steak and Ale pie with its juicy filling and light puff pastry top are firm favourites. You wont be disappointed.
Children are welcomed into our Restaurant, and can choose from a variety of meals from our children's menu.
Meanwhile the Garden Club meets at the Palms Restaurant once a month where members can listen to a talk about plants from a guest speaker, plus Gardener's Question Time sessions. For full details refer to the Garden Club  page.
Our Restaurant seats 80 people comfortably and is available for private hire. Contact the Restaurant Manager who will be happy to customize a menu to suit your event.
